REDUCING ON THE USE OF FIREWOOD
SWID Availed 100 households with environmentally friendly energy saving cooking stoves. These help reduce on pollution, reduce health issues like respiratory diseases due to reduced smoke, help in the fight to protect trees from being cut for charcoal, they are income saving because in Uganda electricity and gas is not affordable for grassroots women.
